Microcement balustrading

ThermaSheet™ provided a lightweight and cost-effective construction solution for this extensive balustrading, avoiding the need for heavier and more labour-intensive traditional building methods. The boards could be easily cut, shaped and assembled to create the required form, significantly simplifying construction across such a large area.

The cementitious surface also provided an ideal substrate for the chosen microcement finish, allowing it to be applied directly to the ThermaSheet without additional lining layers. The result was a strong, streamlined structure with a seamless contemporary finish, while reducing material weight, installation time and overall construction costs.
